Player of the Year Awards 2014

Members of the London Broncos Supporters Association voted for their Player and Young Player of the Year and the awards were made by Association Chair Mark Reynolds at a joint ceremony with the Broncos after the Bradford Bulls fixture at the Hive today (Saturday).

Members voted club captain Matt Cook their Player of the Year, and exciting young half Joe Keyes as Young Player of the Year.

LBSA Player of the Year 2014 - Matt Cook“In a tough season Matt Cook has really stood out for his work rate and commitment” said Association Chair Mark Reynolds, “and it was a real honour for me to present him with the award. Joe Keyes has shown his potential for us in the later part of the season and I’m really looking forward to see his progression next season”

 

 

 

The Supporters Association could be seen as a bright light emerging from the struggles of 2014 .“The Association membership approaches the number of Broncos Members (Season Ticket holders) this year and the recruitment effort continues.” said Association Secretary Steve Newcombe. “Highlights from this first year are undoubtedly making these LBSA Young Player of the Year 2014 - Joe Keyesplayer awards today, and inaugurating our Hall of Fame earlier in the season. Commitment from the membership is high and we’re looking forward to building stronger and deeper links with the Broncos and the wider Rugby League community.”
