Although the day didn’t end the way we wanted it to I have to mention the great turn out of supporters at Widnes yesterday. 
We were in great spirits (well at least until 20 minutes in to the game!); in fact Big Al became the Cougars number one cheerleader with his drumming skills!
Highlight of the day though was undoubtedly the bowler hats brought to the game by Denis and Wendy. Not only did our fans wear them but the excellent stewards from Widnes also entered in to the spirit. In fact at one point one of the police officers also sported one!
Apart from the hat making me look like Oliver Hardy (see the presentation pictures!), they all featured the words “Join the London Broncos Supporters Association”. You know you’ve arrived when you have your own hat!
