We’re happy to announce that at least twelve former players will be our guests at History Day on Sunday. Playing eras range from the very first Fulham team in 1980 to players who debuted at the Stoop as Quins or Broncos.
We will be joined by origin Fulham players Roy Lester and Tony Gourley, as well as Hall of Fame member Hussein M’Barki. We will hopefully also be joined by fellow Hall of Famer Tony Rea, and there is a chance (slim though it may be) that Robert Purdham may be able to make it.
In any case we do have Fulham players travelling down from Rochdale on the day; a former player flying in from Ireland and one from New Zealand (admittedly not just for us!)
We will present Heritage Certificates to past players, marking their part in our history and featuring their number from the Roll of Honour. We’ve also a surprise or two on the day so please try and make it if you can.
Our current squad will also run out on that day in special t-shirts featuring their Name and Heritage Number; the first official Broncos equipment to incorporate our Roll of Honour.
Tickets will also be available from the Broncos at £40 (£25 for Season Ticket holders), but we can offer event tickets (includes Carvery Lunch but NOT entry to the game) for Members and friends direct through LBSA at £20 each.
